The Marian Club's first meeting was held in September.
All women of the Parish are welcome again in October including those who were unable to join prior.
The evening begins with a potluck dinner provided by members of the club, followed by this month's program: "A recap of St Paul’s Footsteps in Greece and Turkey during a 12-day Pilgrimage led by Bishop Kicanas and Deacon Ed Sheffer as seen through the eyes of pilgrim, Karen Hall."
The program itself begins approximately at 6:00 PM with a business meeting following at approximately 6:45 PM.

Mass for the Anointing of the Sick

Anyone of advanced age or suffering from a terminal illness, facing surgery or living with other serious illness is encouraged to attend this Mass and receive this healing Sacrament. Masks are required.

Fr. Ken Wolfe celebrates the 9:30 AM Mass for the Twenty-seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time.
Holy Eucharist will be distributed in the Parish courtyard from 4:00 - 4:30 PM for those who are unable to attend Mass in-person and wish to receive.
Respect Life Sunday/Respect Life Month
Respect Life Sunday, as designated by the USCCB, will be observed October 5. It marks the beginning of Respect Life Month.

Suffering is a part of every human life. Unfortunately, most people are not truly aware of how to use that period of suffering as a path to shape one’s life and to grow spiritually. Teresa has considerable insight into embracing the sorrowful mysteries of our lives in order to heal and more deeply encounter Christ.
If you want to be blessed with insight into this very important part of human life, you are strongly encouraged to come. Be inspired and leave spiritually aided to deal with your own suffering and share this insight with others.
What is XLT? XLT is an evening of prayer/devotion open to all ages. It includes praise and worship, a message and the Exposition/Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
Final Parish Results - CTSO 2024 Campaign
Arizona's Catholic Tuition Support Organization (CTSO) has advised that the parishioners of St. Thomas the Apostle Parish were responsible for tax credit contributions of $524,739.86 for the 2024 tax year.
Your support enabled CTSO to make Catholic education available, affordable and accessible to those who want the opportunity of a quality education that nurtures faith development, provides strong academics, high expectations, promotes self-respect as well as respect for and service to others.
For your ongoing and consistently generous approach to this activity - as your pastor - I am exceedingly grateful and appreciative.
For those less familiar or unfamiliar, I encourage everyone to learn how Arizona allows a dollar-for-dollar tax credit for tuition support.
Within the next couple of weeks, the parish web page will be updated with the 2025 tax year contributions for joint and single filings.
ENDOW Ministry Rosary Baby Shower
For expecting moms, new moms & moms of infants

The ENDOW Ministry will host a shower for expecting mothers, new moms and all mothers of infants. Fr. Crino will give the Blessing for the Child in the Womb and the Holy Rosary will be led by ladies participating in ENDOW. (The group promotes the dignity of women).
Following this service, lunch and refreshments will be served. If you are an expectant mother or a mother of a newborn up to the age of 1 year, sign up online to participate in this beautiful event.
Fr. Ken's Schedule Change
Keep in mind Fr. Ken is 81 years of age! And, despite that senior status, he desires to continue his ministry with us but in a bit modified way. And the parish wishes to continue benefiting from his insights, perspective and faithfulness.
For those reasons, effective today (October 1), he will continue to celebrate three or four Masses weekly while reducing his in-office time post-daily Mass on Tuesdays and Thursdays. After his Tuesday and Thursday Masses he will be in his office until 11 AM.
