All Saints Day
Sunday is a great feast in the calendar of the Church: All Saints Day!
We celebrate all the holy men and women who have gone before us, those famous and those unknown to the books of history. All were sinners, but all relied on the grace of God to be totally transformed to the will of God.
The apostle John wrote in the book of Revelation:
I had a vision of a great multitude, which no one could count,
from every nation, race, people, and tongue.
They stood before the throne and before the Lamb,
wearing white robes and holding palm branches in their hands.
Revelation 7:9

Revelation 7:9
May we be so convicted and so blessed to be counted in that number of holy men and women who see God face to face!

Chapel
This is the day in the Church's liturgical calendar when Catholics are called to remember those who have died. Perhaps attending our daily Mass in their honor in the Chapel would be a splendid recollection.
From the First Reading: Book of Wisdom:
Those who trust in him shall understand truth, and the faithful shall abide with him in love: because grace and mercy are with his holy ones, and his care is with his elect.
Those who trust in him shall understand truth, and the faithful shall abide with him in love: because grace and mercy are with his holy ones, and his care is with his elect.

Church
St. Thomas the Apostles honors all our veterans and celebrate Veterans Day, St. Thomas the Apostle extends a special invitation to all veterans, their friends and families to gather at a special 9:00 AM* Mass in the Church. Veterans are invited to wear their uniform, shirt, hat or other symbols of their service.
Let us gather to remember all who have served and those who sacrificed their lives to ensure our freedom and liberties, being mindful of the redeeming sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace.
Our Knights of Columbus will provide a color/honor guard and assist any disabled veterans who attend.
Music for the Veterans’ Day Mass will be provided by our dedicated organist, Gregg Reynolds and special guest musicians, The 4GENTS. Led by parishioner, Matthew Holter, The 4GENTS is a professional Tucson-based vocal quartet who specialize in popular vocal music from the mid-20th century. They lend their voices to honor and show gratitude for our veterans, both past and present.
Mass will be live streamed; link will be available closer to the date.
