Children's Mass - The Solemnity of All Saints
A picture is worth a thousand words. Many pictures reside in this new photo album from this past Sunday's 9:30 AM Mass (and after)!
NOVEMBER - the Month of All Souls
CHERISH THE MEMORY... Our Catholic faith teaches us to cherish the memory of the dead. It urges us to commune in prayer, especially at Mass, with the souls of those we loved while they walked this Earth, and the souls of all the faithful departed. We are continually reminded that “life is changed, not ended.”
FULL OF HOPE AND LOVE...We offer Mass each day during November for the Holy Souls. Consider participating in this 30-day Novena to honor your deceased loved ones.
COMMUNION OF SAINTS...We place the names of those submitted for remembrance at this 30-day Novena on a stand near the altar. We pray for those who are in purgatory (on their way to heaven) and ask those already in heaven to pray for us. We live the doctrine of the “Communion of Saints.”

National Vocations Awareness Week
November 1 - 7This week is an annual week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States dedicated to promoting vocations to the priesthood, diaconate, consecrated life through prayer and education, and to renew our prayers and support for those who are considering one of these particular vocations.
Let us also remember to pray for vocations to both married life and single life.

Mass Honoring Veterans
Wednesday, November 119:00 AM*
Church
St. Thomas the Apostle Parish to honor all our veterans and celebrate Veterans Day, St. Thomas the Apostle extends a special invitation to all veterans, their friends and families to gather at a special 9:00 AM Mass in the Church. Veterans are invited to wear their uniform, shirt, hat or other symbols of their service.
As we gather to remember all who have served and those who sacrificed their lives to ensure our freedom and liberties, let us do so mindful of the redeeming sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace. Our Knights of Columbus will provide a color/honor guard and assist any disabled veterans who attend.
Music for the Veterans’ Day Mass will be provided by our dedicated organist, Gregg Reynolds and special guest musicians, The 4GENTS. Led by parishioner, Matthew Holter, The 4GENTS is a professional Tucson-based vocal quartet who specialize in popular vocal music from the mid-20th century. They lend their voices to honor and show gratitude for our veterans, both past and present.
